I am Kezia Richmal, an impressionist painter working in layers of acrylic paint, with brushes and palette knives.
Rather than providing a literal record, I seek to translate how it felt to be there: the intangible atmosphere that lingers long after the details have faded.
Based in my studio in Herefordshire, each painting is made to bring a sense of calm to a space — unhurried, tender, and made to be returned to again and again.
This collection grew from the awe and beauty I felt in the landscape of Llynnau Cregennen, North Wales and is a response to being there and the lasting memory it left behind.
These paintings convey the atmospheric wonder of the Welsh mountains and the stunning colours that captivated me.
